The Fred C. Bramlage Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is an 11-bed unit that assists adults in regaining maximum independence. Patients are admitted into the rehabilitation unit following an illness or injury. With a goal to help individuals return to a productive life with maximal independence, patients are provided services in the areas of physical, cognitive, and communicational therapies.

Patients must meet the following criteria for admission onto the unit:

  • Patient must be medically stable.
  • Patient must have the potential for improvement.
  • Patient must participate in a minimum of three hours of rehab per day, 5 days per week. This includes physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy.
  • Patient and family must agree to participate in the rehabilitation program and discharge planning.

The Rehabilitation Department has many features for recovering patients, including a kitchen, laundry facilities, and a transitional living suite, all wheelchair accessible. The dining/activity room is used for therapy and socializing. Our goal is to prepare patients to return home and reintegrate into the community.

A variety of diagnoses are accepted onto the floor. For more details contact Program Manager, Melanie Griffin, R.N.
